1980 Allegheny County Historic Resource Survey (31) 929 5th Ave
Dublin Core
Title
1980 Allegheny County Historic Resource Survey (31) 929 5th Ave
Subject
929 Fifth Avenue — Coraopolis Historic Resource Survey, 1980
Description
Pennsylvania Historic Resource Survey form documenting the commercial building at 929 Fifth Avenue in Coraopolis, Pennsylvania. Dating from approximately 1900–1919, the small two-story brick building has a flat roof and corbelled cornice. The upper story appears to have been remodeled for residential use, with double-hung windows and storm doors. A wood porch or balcony with iron brackets projects above the first floor. The ground-floor restaurant/bar storefront includes large plate-glass windows, boarded-over upper transoms, and a wood entrance door with transom. The survey rated the building’s architectural integrity as poor and considered it expendable rather than an important contributing structure.
