Description
Pennsylvania Historic Resource Survey form documenting the building at 937 Fifth Avenue in Coraopolis, Pennsylvania. Originally constructed as a residence, the 2½-story wood-frame building dates from approximately 1880–1899 and was later converted to commercial use. It features a gable roof and a pyramidal-roofed turret at the northeast corner. A later storefront addition was added to the Fifth Avenue facade, with large glass display windows and transomed double doors opening directly onto the sidewalk. The survey notes that the building had been substantially altered and rated its architectural integrity as poor, describing it as undistinguished.
