Description
Pennsylvania Historic Resource Survey form documenting the commercial building at 930–932 Fifth Avenue in Coraopolis, Pennsylvania. Dating from approximately 1920–1939, the one-story brick structure contains multiple storefronts and extends across nine bays. Architectural features include a flat roof, raised parapets with stone coping, subtle decorative brickwork at the cornice, Carrara glass tile, glass storefronts with recessed entrances, and some later infill with glass block. The survey notes that the building housed five separate commercial enterprises and was significant to the Fifth Avenue streetscape because of its length and solid construction, although it was not considered architecturally distinguished.
